166165Photo #166165Old Ramcroft branch line that served Ramcroft colliery. The line, and bridge over the river Doe Lea could provide a great link from the Stockley Trail to Heath, and the 5 pits trail. Access between the old railway line and nearby PF in the next field has now been totally blocked off though. 😢Obstruction:

144485Photo #144485A632 here has nearby access to TPT and other cycle ways/paths but to reach them it is necessary to use this section of road which is a 40mph road with steep hills, double solid white lines which encourage close passing and for a cyclist is therefore dangerous. A cycle way here would help with both safety of all road users and ease frustration for drivers.Cycleway:

140876Photo #140876Yes close this road which is a vital link road for at least 5 farms along this road that literally only have this road as a means of access. But we are cyclists and we have more rights than the farmers on this road.Temporary closure:

129296Photo #129296Well Lane through to Morton. Appreciate its a country lane, but there is no off road route for children accessing Morton Primary from Stretton /Mickley /Stonebroom: even if accompanied it's not safe. Any off road route or pavement provision would be an improvement and encourage sustainable travel to school.Track:

Ramcroft trial is an old Railway line that served Ramcroft Colliery until the 1960s, complete with flat concrete topped stone bridge over River Doe Lea, a much better alternative to the awkward footbridge on the Public Footpath.

106981Photo #106981Bridge on A632 at Arkwright, the bridge which replaced an old railway bridge, was constructed during the opencasting of the area and relocation of the village, allowing access under the road. It was filled in underneath after the opencasting finished, but a gap has been left of a couple of foot. Could provide useful access as a cycle path avoiding the busy main road, if it was opened up.Other:
